DecoLa Hopping – Papillon
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <3333
Being the band’s first single after three years of activity, this song definitely does not serve to disappoint. Despite the band having quite an oshare look, their sound is anything but oshare. And yes the vocalist is female, but do expect some awesome growling. And, there’s a nice bass solo somewhere in there. :)
Try it?

2. Plastic Tree – Sanbika
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <3333
The first line “Miffy, what are you looking at with your little rabbit eyes full of sorrow?” made me smile. A cute song with cute lyrics and an even cuter vocalist. Ohoho :3
Try it?

3. Versailles – Sympathia
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
Versailles never disappoints. ‘Nuf said. :3
Try it?

4. Twilight Parade – Matenrou Opera
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
This band kinda reminds me of Versailles, so if my above bias said anything, I love this band too. Sono’s voice keeps me awake at night. :) <3
Try it?

5. Bergerac – Azalea
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
This was my very first J-Rock song so I owe it just about everything. Haha ;D <3 It has an indies feel to it that I miss in a lot of J-Rock bands and Itsuki’s voice is nice in the way that it’s not fake/forced like a lot of indies vocalists.
Try it?

6. D’espairsRay – REDEEMER
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
This song is surprisingly addicting; the more I listen to it, the more hooked I get. It’s a bit repetitive after a while, but that just makes it all the more likely to get stuck in your head. ;D The PV is unbelievably creepy and I love it~
Try it?

7. An Cafe – Aroma
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <333
I love the PV [Takuya = ultimate smex], but I was rather disappointed with the song. It’s kinda boring and generic [cue the angry fangirls :3] and Miku’s overly “nyappy” voice is finally starting to get to me. Of course, that’s not to stop your from checking out the PV for some extra eye candy. *coughs* Takuya <3 The lyrics are quite nice as well.
Try it?

8. Nightmare – Raison D’etre
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
Not to be confused with the Dir en Grey song by the same name. Though I love nearly everything about this song, I have to listen to the intro about 50 times before I can continue with the rest of it. Very addicting. <3
Try it?

9. Lupo Label – Moumoku
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
I love this band! <s>Apparently they sing about penises in their songs.</s> *coughs* Not that I know the lyrics to this song or intend to find them. ^__________^ Aside from that, K.T has a really nice voice that’s better than 90% of J-Rock vocalists imo and I’m sure he’d have lots of potential if he didn’t sing about penises all the time. LOL
Try it?

10. Merry – Ringo to Uso
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
My happy song and the one that got me hooked onto Merry. Give it a few listens and I’m sure it’ll catch on to ya. ;D
Try it?

11. ONE OK ROCK – Break My Strings
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
It still amazes me how high Taka’s voice can go. *coughs* He puts girls like me to shame. D: The verses are cute and they remind me of a pop song that I can’t put a name to, but this song is definitely not pop. ^^
Try it?

12. Wonder Girls – Headache
Genre: Korean Pop
Rating: <33333
The chorus is nothing special, but Sunmi/Sohee’s rap and the “Let’s do it” in the middle are rather squeal-worthy. Heh. ^^
Try it?

13. Kanon Wakeshima – Skip Turn Step♪
Genre: Japanese Pop
Rating: <33333
[Unlike the previous song] The verses aren’t all that impressive, but Kanon’s already adorable voice plus the way she pronounces the “i” in skip like skeep make the chorus very catchy. Saa skip turn skip turn~ :3
Try it?

Rotation 1
Theme: None =/

1. alice nine. - 胡蝶蘭 (Kochouran)
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
Comments: This is so unlike all of Arisu's other songs...it has a real "summer" feel to it that I love. I was excited to hear that it had been composed by Hiroto cause he's my favourite member and I've heard that he's the most creative member as well.
Remember to buy the regular edition of the Rainbows single if you want this song...the limited edition doesn't come with it. >___<
Try it?

2. Plastic Tree - 青い鳥 (Aoi Tori)
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <3333
Comments: When I was watching the PV for this song, I noticed a lot of people were commenting that Ryuutaro's face was always blank. But then someone said that it didn't matter if his voice was emotionless as long as he put all his emotions into the music. I must say, I couldn't agree more. ^^ <3
Try it?

3. 12012 - Flower
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <33333
Comments: The intro to this song is absolutely stunning. <3 It also has a nice bassline, a nice chorus...it would be perfect for a movie soundtrack imo.
Try it?

4. Vidoll - Blue Star
Genre: Japanese Rock
Rating: <333
Comment: I love the English lyrics in this song...they're so catchy and cute, especially when Jui is the one singing them. X3 Everything besides that seems a little bland and typical VK though...
Try it?

5. Loveholic - 바람아 멈추어 다오 (Wind, Please stop blowing)
Genre: Korean Rock
Rating: <33333
Comments: I love Ji Sun's voice in most of their songs...however, it does get a tad squeaky at some of the high notes. One of Loveholic's more upbeat songs, but just as relaxing to listen to.
Try it?

<3 Lang

Listening To: Qing Tian Wa Wa - Secret OST
